Speaking in a ceremony to commission the first plant for producing wide steel sheets in the Middle East, in the presence of President Ahmadinejad, Ali Mehrabian said that the average annual industrial investment is 127 thousand billion rials.
He noted that Iran’s economic growth has started and in a near future we witness growth and blossoming in all fields and sustainable development in the country.
Mehrabian said that self-sufficiency in cement production is another achievement of the 9th government .
He said cement production capacity in the country has increased to 64 million tons from 34 million adding that Iran will be self-sufficient in the production of crude steel in near future.
