Iranian Movie Wins Moscow Top Award
The movie competed with films from 18 countries to win the award on Saturday.
Something Like My Eyes tells the story of an Iranian youngster called Abdolvahed Ismailpour who loses both his eyes and arms in a mine explosion in Iran's Kurdestan province, but is able to read a Braille text with his lips.
Mirzaie's movie has already won awards at international film festivals in Iran, France and the US, and was the only Iranian film taking part in the Russian filmfest.
The Moscow Disability Film Festival ran from November 14 to 18.
